How do you manage forex risk margin control in your trading?

I’ve been diving into forex trading for a while now, and I'm starting to realize how crucial it is to control risk and manage my margins effectively. I’ve read a bit about different strategies, like determining the right lot sizes and setting stop-loss orders, but I still feel a bit overwhelmed.

I’d love to hear how you all handle margin control. Do you have any specific rules you follow? What’s been your experience with margin calls? Any tips on not getting too emotionally attached to a trade when things start to go south? Just trying to get a better grip on things before I dive deeper. Would appreciate any insights or personal stories you’ve got!
