Is stock risk leverage control something you prioritize in trading?

I’ve been diving deeper into my trading strategy lately, and I keep hearing about the importance of managing risk, especially when using leverage. It’s a bit of a double-edged sword, right? The potential for higher returns is tempting, but I worry about the downside if things go south. I’d love to hear how others handle this. Do you set specific limits on leverage, or do you have a particular ratio you stick to? How much emphasis do you place on risk control in your decisions? Any tips or experiences you can share would be super helpful!

I totally get where you're coming from! Leverage can really boost returns, but it can also lead to big losses if you're not careful. I usually limit my leverage to 2:1 and set stop-loss orders to help manage risk. I think having a solid risk management plan is key to surviving in trading. Definitely interested to hear how others approach this too!
