Is leveraging stock close trades worth the risk?

I've been dabbling in the stock market for a bit and recently came across leveraged trading, especially focusing on closing prices. It sounds tempting to amplify potential gains, but I'm also concerned about the risks involved. How do you guys approach leverage when it comes to closing out trades? Have you had any success stories, or are there horror stories that make you think twice? I'm particularly interested in your strategies or tips. Do you have a certain percentage you aim for, or do you just go with your gut? Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!
