What’s the Deal with Forex Variable Margin Rates?

I’ve been trading forex for a little while now, and I keep hearing about variable margin rates. From what I understand, they can really change how much capital you need to hold onto your positions. I’m curious, how does everyone manage this in their own trading? Do you find it stressful when those rates fluctuate?

I've read mixed opinions—some say it adds an element of risk management, while others think it just complicates things. For those who have been trading longer, how do you factor in the variable margin when planning your trades? Do you have any tips or strategies that help you stay on top of it? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
