What are your thoughts on using leverage to boost stock APY earnings?

I've been diving into the whole idea of using leverage to enhance my stock returns, particularly focusing on the annual percentage yield (APY). It sounds great in theory—amplifying gains and all that—but I’m a bit nervous about the risks involved. Has anyone here tried this? How do you approach it?

I've read mixed reviews; some folks swear by it and have seen decent earnings, while others have had some rough experiences. I'm wondering if the potential upside is worth the risk, especially with market volatility being what it is lately. Also, what indicators do you look at to make sure the leverage strategy is still a safe bet? Any insight would be super helpful!
