Can leveraging stocks really enhance returns?

I've been diving into the idea of using leverage to boost stock returns, and I'm torn. On one hand, the potential for increased profits is super appealing. But on the other hand, I know the risks can be a bit scary, especially with market volatility. Some friends say their leveraged trades have really paid off, while others have shared horror stories of their losses.

I'm curious if anyone here has experience with using leverage in their trading strategy. Did it enhance your returns, or did it end up being more trouble than it was worth? How do you decide when to use it, and do you have any tips for managing the risks? Would love to hear your thoughts!
