Is stopping margin capital a smart move in crypto trading?

Hey everyone, I've been trading crypto for a while now, and I've been hearing a lot about the benefits of using stop margin capital. For those of you who’ve tried it, how has your experience been? It seems like a way to cut losses, but I'm a bit hesitant. I don’t want to miss out on potential gains just because I set my stops too tight.

How do you guys typically set your stop losses—do you go with a percentage from the current price, or do you incorporate some technical indicators? I’m just looking for some strategies or any experiences you've had that could help me decide whether it’s worth implementing. Thanks!
