Is it wise to use leverage for stock buys?

I’ve been considering jumping into some stock buys, and I keep hearing about leveraging positions to maximize returns. I’m a bit torn, though. On one hand, it sounds like a great way to amplify profits, but I worry about the risks involved. Has anyone here played around with leveraged positions? How did it go for you? Did you have a set strategy or just go with your gut? I’d love to hear your experiences, especially any horror stories or wins that made it worthwhile. Is there a certain percentage of your portfolio you’d recommend risking with leverage, or is it all about personal comfort levels? Looking forward to your thoughts!
